Description
Established from tumours produced in immunosuppressed rats after injection with epidermoid carcinoma tissue from the larynx of a 56-year old Caucasian male; some variants of Hep-2 cells appear to have been contaminated with HeLa cells and have characteristics more in common with the latter.
